Which Adobe Subscription Plan Should You Choose?

Adobe now offer a number of plans when purchasing a license for their software. Choosing the best plan for yourself will depend on:

  • If you are an individual or a business (how many licenses do you require?)
  • Which programs you require (just one or more?)
  • How long you require the license (a few months or at least a year)
  • Whether you are a student or teacher

To make things a little easier for you, we have briefly explained below, how each subscription works. With all of the options below, you can either subscribe on a month-to-month basis or on an annual basis. You will obviously save by subscribing to a 12 month plan. There is no significant saving if you pay your annual plan upfront or in monthly instalments.

SINGLE APP for individual users

“I only require ONE program” e.g. InDesign OR Illustrator OR Photoshop

Individual users can purchase ONE license which can be used across TWO devices. You will only be able to use the software on one device at a time. You will need to logout and then log back in when you change devices.

If you only require InDesign OR Illustrator you can sign up for a SINGLE APP plan for:

  • $28.59 per month (minimum of 12 months sign-up period)
  • $43.99 per month (no minimum sign-up period)
  • $343.07 per year

If you only require Photoshop and Lightroom, then it’s a little cheaper:

  • $14.49 per month (minimum of 12 months sign-up period)
  • $171.47 per year

ALL APPS for individual users

“I need at least TWO programs” e.g. InDesign AND Illustrator

If you require two or more apps, you need to sign up for the ALL APPS plan for:

  • $72.59 per month (minimum of 12 months sign-up period)
  • $108.89 per month (no minimum sign-up period)
  • $871.07 per year

ADOBE STOCK

If you would like to also subscribe to Adobe’s stock photography library, the total monthly subscription for ALL APPS and ADOBE STOCK is $112.18 per month.

STUDENTS AND TEACHERS

If you are a students or teacher you can save up to 67% on your plan. The minimum sign-up period for these plans is 12 months and is only available for ALL APPS or Photoshop.

ALL APP – Education

  • $28.59 per month (minimum of 12 months sign-up period)
  • $285.89 per year

PHOTOSHOP – Education

  • $14.49 per month (minimum of 12 months sign-up period)
  • $171.47 per year
